Smart Power Sensor
Device for Measurement & Energy management tasks The SmartPS supports ESS battery management, dynamic power limitation for EVs, and export limitation by sending signals to the inverter. It accurately measures and monitors energy flow at the grid connection point, distributing PV surplus to batteries or feeding it into the grid. Communication with the inverter occurs through RS485, ensuring real-time data logging and updates. The SmartPS is automatically detected in the Fusion Solar app during the commissioning process.
Huawei FusionSolar
The key component for Smart Energy Management is the Smart Power Sensor, which supports ESS battery management, dynamic power limitation to EVs, and export limitation signals to the inverter in single-phase scenarios. It is highly accurate with an error margin of less than 1% and includes one external current transducers (CTs) that measure up to 100 Amps. Communication with the inverter is via RS485, ensuring real-time data updates in under a second. During commissioning, the sensor is automatically detected in the Fusion Solar app. The Huawei SmartPS-100A-S0 operates in three-phase solar systems, handling voltages from 176 to 288 volts, and consumes less than one watt of power. Installation is straightforward, and the sensor features an LCD screen for displaying performance data. It supports RS485 communication and uses the Modbus RTU protocol for remote reading. The sensor is extremely precise, with voltage measurement accuracy of +/-0.5%, frequency variation of 0.01 Hz, and current, power, and energy measurements with a maximum deviation of +/-1%.
