Smart Transformer Station
An STS converts LV AC power generated by solar inverters into medium-voltage (MV) AC power and feeds it into a power grid. STS adopts the 20’ HC metal container, the STS features a compact structure and high protection to meet the requirements of transportation by sea or land The MV room is fully sealed (IP54) to isolate components from the external environment to ensure a good operation environment for the components The transformer adopts outdoor installation and is protected with mesh to ensure heat dissipation and prevent anyone from entering it by accident.

The STS all come prefabricated, preconfigured and pretested inside a standard 20' HC-Container Design (Corrosion protection: C4-H / C5-M) C5 M - very high corrosivity according to ISO 12944 An Smart Transformer Station enables the grid-coupling to the Medium voltage power grid by stepping up the 800V input voltage from the PV arrays to reach 1500V before fed-in. The STS solution consists of all relevant components needed, such as : LV Panel for the connection of our inverters, Oil-immersed Medium voltage transformer, Auxiliary power Transformer and auxiliary Board MV Switchgear STS adopts "bottom-up"cabling. The cables preparation should be embedded in buried corridors under the LV room and MV room in advance. The STS can be installed in coastal and offshore areas with high salinity All electrical components are perfectly protected against overcurrent with Surge protection devices and Anti-explosion circuit breakers.
